NJDOT Chooses Endurablend for Hackettstown Route 46 Streetscape

NJDOT chose to use Endurablend for the Route 46 Streetscape project in Hackettstown. In an effort to dress up Main Street in the downtown area, Endurablend polymer cement surfacing was installed with a decorative 45-degree Herringbone brick pattern with a soldier course border and a medium grey grout line. Endurablend was chosen because of its durability, aesthetic appeal, and lack of maintenance.

Endurablend is an “Ultra-Thin” (1/8″) surface treatment for asphalt and concrete pavements, consisting of a specially formulated polymer modified cement that is spray applied to your surface. Stencils can be used to create patterns for decorative or safety applications. Endurablend is designed to provide you with an extremely durable colored surface treatment that will seal and protect the surface from salts, de-icing materials, oils, and most chemicals. Endurablend is basically maintenance-free and has an expected life span of 10 plus years under heavy traffic conditions.
